Alamak! I Got Scammed?!
Imagine receiving a message offering an easy work-from-home opportunity with attractive earnings and flexible hours. At first, everything looks legitimate. The scammer may use the eZee Malaysia name, logo, and even professional-looking recruitment materials to gain your trust.
Unfortunately, several individuals have recently reported suspicious job offers claiming to be associated with eZee Malaysia. These offers are not legitimate and have been created by scammers attempting to deceive job seekers.
To protect the public, we would like to share how these scams work and the warning signs everyone should watch out for.
“eZee Technosys Malaysia does not offer part-time hotel booking tasks or pay-first commission schemes.”
eZee Technosys (M) Sdn. Bhd. would like to alert our customers, partners and the public about a recent scam advertisement that has been circulating online using our company name, logo, website and branding without authorization.
We were recently alerted to online advertisements and promotional content that misuse the eZee brand, company name and related materials to promote unauthorised schemes. These advertisements may appear convincing and often use company branding to create a false sense of legitimacy, potentially misleading members of the public. The advertisement also displayed well-known booking platform names such as Traveloka, Agoda, and Booking.com and encouraged people to contact an “Assistant” for guidance.
We would like to clearly state:
This is not an official campaign by eZee Technosys Malaysia.
Here is how to differentiate/verify if the job offer is legit or not.
Warning Sign #1:
“Use Your Own Money First”
One of the most common tactics used by scammers is asking victims to use their own money before they can supposedly earn commissions or rewards.
You may hear statements such as:
- “Complete booking tasks and earn commissions.”
- “Make a payment first and receive higher returns later.”
- “Deposit funds to unlock more tasks.”
- “Top up your account to continue earning.”
These requests are major red flags.
Legitimate employers do not ask candidates or employees to transfer money in order to start working.
If a job opportunity requires upfront payment, you should immediately question its legitimacy.
Warning Sign #2:
“Complete Tasks and Earn Commissions”
Another common tactic involves assigning simple tasks with promises of attractive commissions.
Examples include:
- Completing booking tasks
- Clicking links
- Reviewing products or services
- Performing online activities
Victims are often shown impressive earning examples to make the opportunity seem genuine.
However, once trust has been established, the scammer will begin requesting deposits, claiming they are necessary to continue earning commissions or unlock higher-paying tasks.
Remember: If the opportunity sounds too easy and the rewards seem too good to be true, it probably is.

Stay Alert. Stay Safe.
Scammers are constantly finding new ways to exploit trusted company names and deceive unsuspecting individuals.
Before accepting any job offer, take a moment to verify the source, question unrealistic promises, and never pay money to secure employment.
A legitimate job pays you for your work — not the other way around.
