One of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind about e-invoicing is: “How does it work, and does it really work?”
Before an invoice is validated by LHDN, it goes through five essential phases: Request → Filter → Issue → Submit → Validate

Request
Each client, guest, or customer has their own folio that records all transactions during their stay or visit. For eZee E-Invoice, the invoice request is generated when the guest checks out.
2. Filter
Before the receptionist or Front Office team issues the E-Invoice to the guest, they must first confirm the guest’s source whether they arrived as a walk-in, through the hotel website, an online travel agent, a company booking, or a travel agent.
Once the Front Desk has confirmed the Guest’s booking source, they will collect all the necessary details from the guest that are required by LHDN for submission and validation on the MyInvois Portal.
3. Issue
For Every Folio and Guest check-out through the eZee Technosys PMS, the system automatically generates and sends the data to the eZee Invoice Portal. From there, we can verify, update, cancel, delete, and submit the invoice directly to LHDN.
The biggest advantage of integrating these two systems is the perfect sync between charges recorded in the eZee Technosys PMS and the eZee Invoice System. All amounts are automatically aligned and fully accurate, eliminating the need for the finance or accounts team to perform manual cross-checks. They can proceed with direct, hassle-free submission.
4. Submit
When we submit the eZee E-Invoice Linked with the MyInvois Portal, LHDN will automatically validate all the information to ensure everything is accurate and free of mismatches.
The validation process typically takes 10 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the MyInvois server. This fast turnaround makes the entire workflow highly efficient, saving valuable time for both guests and hoteliers.
5. Validate Invoice
For invoices that have been successfully verified and validated by MyInvois, the eZee E-Invoice system will display the UUID. This unique identifier appears only when all data is accurate and fully approved by LHDN.
