eZee vs Hotelogix: An Honest Comparison for Malaysian Hotels
Hotelogix is a serious product with a long history — running since 2008, used by thousands of hotels across a hundred-plus countries. If you've been researching hotel software in Malaysia, you've almost certainly run into it, partly because it publishes a lot of "best hotel PMS in Malaysia" content that ranks well. Some of those lists are written by Hotelogix itself, which is worth keeping in mind while you read them — the same way you should keep in mind that this page is written by us.
So let's be fair about it. Here's where Hotelogix genuinely competes, and where we think eZee fits a Malaysian hotel better.
The short verdict
- Hotelogix is a reasonable pick if an established global brand and a big worldwide install base are what reassure you and your owners, and local presence isn't a deciding factor.
- eZee is the stronger fit if you want a local Kuala Lumpur team, native LHDN e-Invoice built deep into the product, ringgit pricing, and support in Bahasa Melayu, English or Mandarin.

Where Hotelogix is genuinely strong
- Track record and scale. Fifteen-plus years and a large global footprint is real reassurance, especially for an owner who wants a name that's clearly been around.
- A mature, broad product. It does the core hotel jobs competently and has done for a long time.
- Content and visibility. They invest heavily in ranking for Malaysian search terms, which is exactly why you keep seeing them — and, honestly, part of why we're writing this.
If a big global brand is the thing that lets you sleep at night, Hotelogix earns its place on your shortlist.
Where eZee pulls ahead for a Malaysian hotel
- A local team, here. eZee has a Kuala Lumpur presence and 1,500+ Malaysian properties, with support in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin. When a channel manager hiccups on a public holiday, "local, same time zone, your language" isn't a nice-to-have.
- e-Invoice that was built for here, not bolted on. Quickbill submits compliant LHDN e-Invoices to MyInvois from both the front desk and the F&B POS, and it's backed by a deep library of Malaysian e-Invoice guidance. Hotelogix added MyInvois in early 2025; it works, but the local depth is newer.
- F&B under the same roof. If you run a restaurant or café alongside rooms, eZee's POS keeps that compliant and connected. That's not Hotelogix's centre of gravity.
- Ringgit pricing and a free trial. You can see the price and try it, rather than starting with a sales call.
Who should pick which
- You value a global brand above all, and local presence isn't a dealbreaker → Hotelogix is a fair choice.
- You want native LHDN e-Invoice, F&B included, and a local team in your language → that's eZee's home ground.
- Still deciding? Both offer trials. Put a live MyInvois submission and your real OTA connections in front of each — that's where the difference shows.
The test that settles it
Ask each vendor to submit a real LHDN e-Invoice to MyInvois, live, in front of you — from the front desk and, if you have F&B, from the restaurant till. Then ask who supports you, from where, and in which language. For a Malaysian hotel in 2026, those two answers matter more than any brand.
If eZee looks right, we'll walk you through exactly that on your own property.
